Senior Science Technician


37 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week

Band 7: SCP 19-22, £16,969 to £18,390 Actual (£19,446 to £21,074 Full Year)

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and talented Senior Science Technician to join our successful science team.  The Senior Science Technician will lead a team of technicians, and work closely with the Faculty Leader and teachers to provide a varied, interesting and challenging science curriculum.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent communication, time management and organisational skills, and the ability to lead a team
  • Has good knowledge of chemical processes, and a first class understanding of health and safety issues within science
  • Has relevant experience and a strong knowledge of common school science practicals.

Finance Officer


Ideally 29.5 hours per week, term-time only plus 1 week

Band 5: SCP 12-16 £11,948 to £12,746 Actual (£17,173 to £18,319 Full Year)

Required from September 2018

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy school support team from September as a Finance Officer.  The role is interesting and varied and experience of working in a similar finance role is desirable, preferably (but not a necessity) in a school environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the School Business Manager and the rest of the Finance Team to provide a high quality service for the school and its community. The working hours are subject to negotiation, but 29.5 hours a week would be the ideal.

The ability to work flexibly and enthusiastically in a team environment and a willingness to help and support colleagues in other areas when required, is also something that we are looking for.
