Students attend Student Leadership event

On Friday 6th February Ellie Cooper (student council president) and Issie MacGregor (student council vice-president) attended a Student Leadership event with North Yorkshire County Council at County Hall, Northallerton. 

This event allowed student voice representatives from secondary schools in North Yorkshire a chance to network, share good practice and collaborate on ideas to create outstanding student voice in North Yorkshire. Students listened to Rosie Corrigan (Selby Mayor and youngest female Mayor in the UK) share inspirational stories of success in politics, and succeeding, despite adversity, at a young age.

Ellie and Issie returned with a wealth of new ideas to implement in school in order to make our already successful student council even greater.
