Selby High School

Show Jumping Regional Qualifiers

Selby High School Equestrian Team competed at the National Schools Equestrian Association show jumping regional qualifiers at Bishop Burton College on Saturday 28th September.

Great results for the six riders who competed for the school, with a 6th place in the 80cm class and 5th place in the 90cm class. This means that teams of 4 riders will go on to compete, representing the school at the National Plate competition in Keysoe, Bedford in November in both of these classes.

Ellie McNeil then competed as an individual rider for the school in the 1.10m class and won first place! She will represent the school at the National championships at Addington Manor in Buckinghamshire in October.

It was a fantastic day of amazing achievements for the team.Well done to everyone involved and good luck for your upcoming events.
