Careers Fair November 2019
Selby High School students of years 10 and 11 and your parents/carers/guardians are invited to our Careers Fair on Monday 18th November 2019, 5.00-7.00pm. Come along to meet prospective employers, apprenticeship providers, FE Colleges and Universities at this informal event.

Dear Parents/Carers/Guardians, FE Establishments, Apprenticeship providers and employers: Could you help us?
Do you run your own business or have a participation, recruitment or promotional role for a company with excellent progression routes and/or graduate scheme? If so, we would like to hear from you!
Following the success of our careers fair last year, we feel that it will again prove to be a worthwhile addition to our school careers programme to hold another fair on Monday 18th November 2019 for Year 10 and 11 students and their parents, carers and guardians, and we would like to invite you to be part of it.
Further information will be sent out to students and families nearer the time, but for now we want to hear from prospective employers who would like to have a stand for the evening.
The aim of the evening is for FE establishments, apprenticeship providers and employers to have the opportunity to come into school, meet with the young people and their families, and give them information and advice about career options as students progress through their final years at Selby High School.
I am sure you will agree that providing young people with up to date information about career opportunities is crucial, especially in the present economic climate, and even if you are not currently in a position to offer a young person a form of employment, I hope that you would like to be involved with this event in order to discuss the types of opportunities that could be available in your work sector.
