Wistow Sports Morning

Selby High School were approached to help deliver an activity as part of Wistow Primary Schools ‘Sports Morning’ last Wednesday.  The Year 10 pupils chosen to lead the activity session had shown excellent effort and attainment in PE lessons throughout the year and proved to be a great asset in this situation.  The young leaders collectively led Frisbee golf sessions to 14 different groups as the Wistow pupils tackled their multi-activity morning.  The Frisbee golf sessions proved to be exceptionally popular, due in part to the enthusiastic coaching and leading from the Selby High School pupils.  The British summer was generous in keeping the rain away until packing up time although the breezy conditions did add an extra challenge for the Wistow Frisbee wielders!

Both sets of pupils found the experience very rewarding and we are already looking forward to helping at the event in 2017.
