Operation Christmas Child Appeal 2014

Selby High School has joined the Operation Christmas Child Appeal again this year to help spread a little bit of Christmas cheer across the world to those children who really need it.

We have a mountain of shoeboxes growing in our reception and would love to receive more.

Getting involved is simple, all you need to do is make a Christmas Shoebox Gift and we’ll give make sure it gets handed to a child in need this Christmas.

Follow these simple steps to help make a difference this year:

  • Get a shoebox and cover it in Christmas paper, wrap the lid separately.
  • Fill your box with toys and useful things. For examples please see below.
  • Label the box for boy/girl and include age.
  • If possible include an envelope containing £3 to cover travel costs.
  • Please hand in to Mrs Hindle by November 17th.

Items that can be included in the shoeboxes:

  • Toys:  Bear, soft toy, tennis ball, finger puppet, jigsaw, yo-yo, building blocks, small musical instrument, trucks, cars, dolls, clip on earrings, etc...
